School Year
St. Andrew the Apostle School opened in August 1993. Our school is accredited by the Virginia Catholic Education Association, whose accreditation process has been approved by the Virginia Council for Private Education Committee on Accreditation as authorized by the Virginia State Board of Education. We provide an academically challenging curriculum rooted in Catholic faith and tradition.
St. Andrew has one class per grade level, PreK 4's through 8th grade, with maximum class size of 20 children in the PreK class and 30 children in Kindergarten through 8th. There are Instructional Assistants in the PreK, Kindergarten and First Grade classrooms. The PreK program is designed for children who are 4 years old by September 30th of that year.
Elementary and Middle School Hours (K — 8th):
Monday through Friday — 8:15am to 3:15pm
Every Wednesday is an early dismissal day — School dismisses at 1:45pm
Preschool Hours:
Monday through Friday — 8:15am to 11:15am
School Office Hours:
Monday through Friday — 7:45am to 3:30pm

The pastor of our parish is Father John Kelly.
