History of Blanket Buddies
Blanket Buddies was formed in 2001 as a service group to help make quilts for kids and families in need. The students sandwich together the top of the quilt using 5 inch squares sewn together in a pattern, along with polyester fiberfill and a backing fabric. They then proceed to tie each corner of the squares with DMC floss and then hand sew the entire perimeter of the quilt. We then sign the quilt Blanket Buddies with the year. The children talk and socialize among themselves the entire time while being very productive making the quilts.

All Blanket Buddy members should be very proud of themselves for all the work that they have done these past 6 years. They have done many Corporal Works of Mercy and will be rewarded later by Our Heavenly Father.
