Mileage Club

Mileage Club
The mileage club is a wellness program that promotes healthy exercise for children. In the spring and fall of the school year children in the 6th through 8th grades are welcome to stay after school on Wednesday afternoons to power walk, jog or run a 2 mile trek around St. Andrew School. Studies show that regular exercise has enormous benefits including the following: building self esteem, improving health, improving school performance, and burning off excess energy. This club began two years ago in the 2006-07 school year and has become more popular each year.
Date: Wednesday, September 17, 2008 (first one of the year) and then every Wednesday until the weather gets too cold. This date will be published once it has been determined by the mileage club coordinators.
There will be no mileage club on Wednesday, November 19th or Wednesday, November 25th. The final mileage club for the Fall Season will be on Wednesday, December 3rd. (updated 11/18/2008).
